Sora is Fulton County Schools' approved gateway to digital reading!

What is Sora? Sora is an innovative student reading platform available to all Fulton County School students and teachers. Sora is an award-winning digital reading app that empowers K-12 students to discover age-appropriate eBooks, audiobooks, magazines, and more from our district/school library, on any device, 24/7!

Getting started with Sora

With Sora, you can get free eBooks, audiobooks, and magazines from Fulton County Schools and Liberty Point Elementary School.

Step 1 - Login to Sora for Liberty Point Elementary School/Fulton County School District (for all staff and students):

Step 2 - Choose the "Find your school" button.

  • Choose "No, I'll search for my school."
  • Type Liberty Point.
    • Select Liberty Point Elementary School.
  • *Then, sign in to Sora.
    • *With any of the above 3 options, you’ll use your existing Fulton County Schools network login/credentials!
      • For FCS Staff (if prompted): use your employee FCS username and password
      • For FCS students (if prompted): use your student FCS username and password

Allow, install, and agree to the options.

Choose either:

  • Fulton County School District PK-2 Students and Staff
  • Fulton County School District 3-12 Students

Want to see even more books? Add the public library!

  • Under the main menu from any Sora tab, select + Add a library and search for Fulton Public Library System.
  • Click Borrow or Place hold on any title for a sign-in prompt.
  • Select Fulton County Public System, then enter Fulton County Public Library card & pin. Don’t forget ðŸ“£September is library card sign-up month!

Step 3 - Navigate Sora (bottom row icons: Home, Explore, Shelf, & Me)

Browse the Explore tab (at the bottom of your screen) and borrow a book. Your book will open so you can start reading right away.

Step 4

Close the book and go to shelf to see all your books (including assignments). From there, you can:

  • Select Open book or Open audiobook to read or listen to the book.
  • Select Options to renew or return the book, see your notes and highlights, and more.
